Import Interface

The Import interface wizard allows you to import interface information from different sources. Select Tools|Import Interface/Declarations, or press Ctrl+I, or select File|Import Interface/Declarations in the Declaration Editor to open the wizard.

To import the rename mapping from a CSV file for testing with PLS UDE, use the importer in the setup of the PLS UDE node of the FUSION Platform, see FUSION Nodes - PLS UDE Node.

Format

Select a format from which the interface is to be imported. The Import Interface wizard is the same for every format, with slightly differences. As an example, Import interface from another TPT file is selected.

Target mapping

Select a target mapping. The information of the mapping of the interface to be imported will be added to this target mapping. By default, the currently selected mapping in the Declaration Editor is displayed. If no mapping is selected in the Declaration Editor, the last mapping used is displayed.

Click Next to open the Select file dialog. Select a file that contains the interface information.

Look up mappings

Click the button to search for mappings contained in the selected file. If mappings are detected, you can select one it from the drop-down list.

You cannot change the source mapping selection at a later step.

Click Finish. The Import Interface dialog opens, see Import Interface Dialog.
